May 15th | HB Williams Memorial Library is holding a Pied Piper Parade and anticipate 300 – 500 children participating from numerous schools. The parade will conclude with a storytelling event. Families are encouraged to join in the parade. |

May 15th | Otaua School is holding an open day with activities for children including weaving, origami, Tae Kwon Do instruction, drama, puppet making and making silhouettes. The school is also planning a shared lunch to which parents, siblings, grandparents are invited. |
| Family Noticeboard | Standards New Zealand | Monday 12 - Friday 16 May | Standards New Zealand is inviting staff to post on a noticeboard photos, paintings, pictures and poems of their families. On the Friday anyone who has posted something will go in the draw to win a family prize pack. They are also promoting their work-life balance initiatives to staff. |
